What the heck is laugher therapy?!

 

Yes. We get asked this question a lot, and we will try to answer it, as well as other questions you may have…

Question: What happens?

Answer: There is no yoga involved!  Just some basic yoga breathing to pace the session.  Most people will laugh a lot!  Some may laugh a little and one or two may just frown!  No-one is put on the spot or singled out.  An uplifting unifying atmosphere is created by one of us leading all through a sequence of different laughing techniques!  This may encompass laughter being echoed, copied, improvised in a feel good cacophony where people feel comfortable expressing themselves anonymously!   It’s not yoga and it’s very fun and funny !

Question: Why would I want to do this?

Answer: To de-stress/de-screen, to reconnect with others and for a fun memorable teambuilding exercise for you and and your event.  If you’re sick of bowling and pizza and are looking for something fun and different… look no further!

Question: Why do businesses what to do this?

Answer: A laugher therapy session is a perfect teambuilding activity for small and large groups of people, in fact, any thing from 3 to 5000 people (well, almost).

Many companies hit upon the idea of laughter yoga or therapy as a fun session for staff to take part in, to help them interact with different teams in a non egotistical way !  It’s unlike any other activity you’ve done before!
